What is a credit?
Credits pay for agents that run on our hosted models. Each plan includes a monthly allowance, pooled across the workspace, and every run shows what it cost.
Do runs on my own Claude Code or Codex subscription use credits?
No. Neither do runs on a local model. Credits are only used by hosted models.
Who counts as a seat?
Owners, admins and members, the people who can change what agents do. Viewers are free.
What happens if we run out of credits?
On Business you can turn on metered overage so work carries on. Runs on your own subscription or a local model never depend on your credit balance.
Is the desktop app free?
Yes. The Mac app in local mode, with your own subscription or a local model, has no OpenHelm bill. Paid plans are for the cloud workspace and teams.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, from billing settings in the app.
